Visiting Fellowships

The Trust Board offer Visiting Fellowships to a number of UK universities to enable them to invite one or two visitors to the UK for the purpose of research and collaboration. Universities not on the rota of institutions selected by the Board may not apply directly to the Trust under this scheme.

Aim

To enable one or two post-doctoral academic researchers (normally with no more than eight years post-doctoral experience) to visit the UK university for the purpose of research and collaboration. Visiting Fellows are encouraged to give lectures and seminars and to participate in the intellectual life of the institution.

Fields

Visiting Fellows may be in any field.

Duration

Between 9 and 12 consecutive months for each Visiting Fellow.
